If you have ever fed a fruit to a bunny, you will quickly realize how much they love it. It can even get to the point where they constantly beg for it. So, when is too much? Will I find my rabbit dead after feeding it too much? The short answer is this is very rare. After feeding your bunny maybe one too many sweets, you can notice their stool is irregular. This is a telltale sign to cut down on the snacks. The stool will commonly be more loose and wet than a typical healthy poop. Another sign is to check their teeth. If you notice your bunny's teeth are not their regular white color and are about to take them to the vet before you evaluate their fruit intake. Discolored teeth can be a sign of too many fruits. I generally go by the rule of one sweet treat a week. Don't stress too much about this, just be observant of your bunny, as all bunnies can react differently.
